Busker Days
By: Mike Defendant
Some nights we would dig through the trash, to find food when we weren't bumming cash. Played guitar on the streets every day. Most hours for minimum pay. Living the music, loving it too. It's part of who you are when music's what you do. Came from little, still there today, I ain't got much but these songs that I play.
Traveled the country singing my rhymes. Made new friends and unforgettable times. I'll never see a million dollars, that's ok. cause it's not about the money at the end of the day. it's about the passion, it's not about the fame. it's about the action and the thrill of the game. if it makes you feel happy that makes me happy too. You're my kinda person, always doing what you do.
